Yes. Every city in Western Riverside County requires a building permit for a patio cover, and Hemet is on that list. Elite Patios prepares and submits the City of Hemet package and schedules inspections through final sign-off. Some addresses that feel like Hemet — Valle Vista and other unincorporated pockets — are actually County of Riverside jobs. We confirm the jurisdiction on the first visit.

A standard 10×20 attached aluminum patio cover installed by Elite Patios typically runs $4,000–$5,000, plus the Hemet permit as its own line item.
